Meridas Gold Trading L.L.C. and Meridas Gold Refinery FZC are held to international standards for quality, environmental management, occupational health & safety, and responsible sourcing of precious metals — whether or not anyone is auditing us that week.

Responsible sourcing

Public annual reporting is required under Step 5 of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals, which the UAE's responsible-sourcing regulations for gold implement. Our responsible sourcing assurance reports and refiner compliance report are published, unaltered, in the document library below.

A note on entity continuity: these reports cover audit periods during which the refinery operated under its previous registered name. The legal entity is unchanged — same licence (SAIF Zone registration no. 23168), same facility, same management. The entity now trades as Meridas Gold Refinery FZC.

Certifications

Meridas Gold Refinery FZC holds ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety) certification, covering gold and silver processing — assaying, smelting, refining, and the manufacture of bars, grains and minted products. The certificates were issued in October 2026 under the current entity name by Veritas System Quality Certificates Issuing LLC, a certification body accredited by the Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC), and are published in the document library.
