Introducing Meridas

Meridas is a precious metals refining and trading business operating in the UAE, with a commercial office at The Gold Center in Dubai’s Gold Souq and a refinery and assay laboratory in Sharjah’s SAIF Zone.

What we do

We melt, assay and refine gold and silver for jewellers, wholesalers and manufacturers, and produce investment-grade bars and grain in gold (999.9 and 995) and silver (999.0). Every bar we cast carries a unique serial number.

Our Sharjah laboratory runs a full complement of analytical methods — cupellation, X-ray fluorescence, atomic absorption spectroscopy, potentiometry and density testing — to determine the purity of everything that passes through it.

Who we work with

We serve small local jewellers, wholesale jewellers and manufacturers — here in the UAE and globally — and maintain partnerships around the world.
